Journal Impact Factors

The OLRC often receives questions from researchers relating to which journals have the greatest "impact" in their field? There are a number of indexes available for comparing journals, but the most commonly used resource in North America is the ISI Web of Knowledge Journal Citation Reports. Journals can be searched by title, or there is a subject heading for Ophthalmology, which provides quick reference for major vision science journals in North America.
